Stipple is LS GROUP (ex Light & Shadows) newest editing tool for point clouds!

Stipple enables you to import and visualize your Point Clouds in Unity.

We developed a few tools for you to edit your data: edit, copy, and several others.
You can customize your Point Clouds data to explore and experience different environments in VR.

Built as designed: You can also compare your point clouds with BIM or CAD data to see the differences between them.

Why not you? Come and explore this Unity plugin allowing you to import and display a massive point cloud up to a nearly unlimited number of points in a VR headset!

Stipple is VR compliant, which means you have the possibilityto visualize your Point Clouds in a VR headset using the fullpower of the Unity platform! Thanks to its Level Of Detail, you can see your Point Clouds as detailed as you want!

Compare your Point Cloud and your 3D data to highlight

the differences between a scan and BIM model.

Make a comparative analysis to ensure your building is built

"as designed" or if there are changes to be made.

You can easily import your files in Stipple.

Supported formats (Point Clouds):

  • e57 (.e57)

  • PTS/PTX (.pts, .ptx)

  • LAS (.las)

  • PLY (.ply)

Using the tools available in Stipple, you can

edit your Point Clouds:

- You can cut/crop one part that you do not need

- You can isolate one part of your massive Point Clouds: cut

and isolate a robot for example and put it in another place

Stipple allows the visualization of extra-large Point Clouds

with a nearly unlimited number of points

(until 5 billion points).

You can travel in your points clouds!

Detect any collision between one Point Cloud and CAD data thanks to our clash detection tool.

This allows you to see where the collision is and to make sure that two machines can operate simultaneously without any collision for example.

Apply lighting to beautify your point clouds. You can use Unity

real-time lights and customize the look and feel of your scene.

What they’re saying

We used STIPPLE in Unity in our previous project importing huge amount of point clouds.

Very happy with it, it took no time to import the file. Looking forward to use STIPPLE again in our future 3d scanning project.

Ann Stevens |  TAFE Queensland

STIPPLE convinced me with its ease of use.

I didn't have much experience with 3D but with STIPPLE I didn't have any blockages or questions to ask myself. I installed it, saw the imported point clouds tab, clicked on it and within seconds I was able to work with my data.

Maxime CYR | Faiseux de berlue

The use of STIPPLE is almost invisible in the data import and visualization process. We can work without bugs.
