Lexus and Unity trusted LS GROUP to create a real-time, photorealistic configurator for the LC500 car. This configurator meets the automotive brand's desire to create high-quality, high-fidelity audiovisual content at a lower cost. By developing this tool, the company is also offering a new interactive and personalized online experience during the purchase process of its customers. Indeed, they will be able to configure the Japanese sports car to better project themselves, whether they are on a mobile or on the computer. This reflects Lexus' philosophy of always considering the customer first.
The work of our developers and computer graphics designers led them to respect the details of the vehicle (colors, materials, etc.) without forgetting the interactivity in order to be able to configure it instantly. For this purpose, they developed the 4k application on Unity through the HDRP (HD Render Pipeline) engine, which took visual quality and performance to new levels. From the finish, to the interior and exterior colors, to the addition of animations, our teams made sure that the configurator offered relevant features for the creation of the users' dream car.
